Data and Expo India Pvt Ltd,
the owner and promoter of Visitors Guide India is dedicated
to producing quality, user friendly and handy tourism related
publications with the intent of bridging the information gap
that exists for a traveler to India. We specialize in imparting
current information on the popular and the little known
destinations of tourist interests in India - the information
that is comprehensive, authenticated, properly structured, and
easy to find. The state specific Visitors Guide India produced
by us also act as a useful reference source for tour operators
and managers to conduct their travel plans and individuals to
plan their holidays.
This web site is intended to introduce
our publications, expose our expertise and services and to invite proposals
to become our business associates and representatives.
We began as a small organization whose
first client was the Rajasthan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
A Commercial and Industrial Guide brought together caught the attention
of Rajasthan Tourism Department and resulted in a collaborated
publication on various categories of accommodation in Rajasthan.
As the result of this exposure, since 1998 requests
came in from tourism departments of other states in India. Subsequently
the stupendous success achieved by our tourism related guides for the
States of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand (earlier
Uttarahchal), Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa and the Union territories
of Daman, Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli made Visitors Guide one of the most
sought after travel companion for domestic, foreign and also business traveler.
The Visitors Guide on Hill Retreats of Western India,
collaborated with Hotel & Restaurant Association (Western India) - affiliated
to Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Association of India; FHRAI is also testimony
to our expertise.
Recently in August, 2008 we introduced the first city specific
tourist guide to the city of Jaipur. We envisage adding Visitors Guide India on the
remaining States and Union Territories of India by the year 2010 and simultaneously
will continue to update the existing editions. The next endeavour is to produce
individual volumes on North, South, East, and Western parts of India to be followed
by the ultimate Visitors Guide India, by the year 2012.
